Courtesy call on the Minister of Youth & Sports!

As part of its long tradition of engaging authorities on its activities and issues of national interest, Beakanyang on Wednesday 3^rd May 2021 paid a courtesy call on the Minister of Youth and Sports Hon.Bakary Y. Badjie at his office in Banjul.

The Executive Director of Beakanyang, Mr. Nfamara Jawneh, emphasized the need for the involvement of youth in the protection of their rights.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Musa Mbye DPS Technical thanked Beakanyang for keeping on to its long tradition of updating the ministry about it’s activities.

Speaking earlier, Mr. Alagie Jarju, Executive Director of NYC applauded Beakanyang for its proactiveness and remaining focus to its core mandate of promoting human rights and good governance.

For his part, Hon. Badjie hailed Beakanyang for the great work it’s doing in the country. He assured the organization of his office’s continue support. Mr. Sanaba Jawla, Senior Program Officer of Beakanyang delivered the vote of thanks.
